2009 Prizewinning entry Bridge Competition Hollandse brug Hans van Heeswijk architecten is selected as one of the three finalists for the competition "uitbreiding van de Hollandse Brug" at the A6 over the Gooimeer between Naarden and Almere. The design is made possible through a collaboration between Hans van Heeswijk architecten and structural consultant Walter Spangenberg of ABT. The design is based on a biplane principle. The new bridge is being placed over the existing bridge. In the next phase the three finalists will elaborate there design. For more information on the design contest, see www.rijkswaterstaat.nl |
