2009 Geurt Brinkgreve Bokaal 2009 for Hans Van Heeswijk Architects During the Zuiderkerk Prijzengala Alderman Hans Gerson presented Hans van Heeswijk (architect Hermitage Amsterdam) with the GEURT BRINKGREVE BOKAAL 2009 for the Hermitage Amsterdam project. This prize is awarded annually for the best initiative in the field of redevelopment or renovation. The Hermitage Amsterdam sets a new standard in museum design and realisation. The design and building team have demonstrated that they can realise a museum of un-Dutch, high-quality, and also within the planning schedule and budget.
