Interior Design Town Hall Lansingerland
The new town hall for Lansingerland consists of two buildings, a public building and a office building.
The majority of the staff is accommodated in the office building. This elongated building is slightly curved and consist of three layers . It’s a modular and flexible layout based on a grid of 1.80 m without any middle columns. Spatially, the building is determined by the two entrances to staircases and facility points.
The public building is the focal point of the assembly and the place where the public is received. This is also the place where the politics and governance are housed. The public hall, wedding hall, council room, meeting rooms, rooms for mayor and councilors and restaurant are located here.
These particular functions are housed in circular areas. These are therefore clearly recognizable. The circular shape also creates a private and intimate character. The circular shapes are made of wood and have a high standard.
