Museum MORE - Ruurlo Castle Access Bridge
Kasteel Ruurlo (Ruurlo Castle) is restored to be a satellite museum of Museum MORE in Gorssel. In this castle paintings of Dutch realist painter Carel Willink will be exhibited.
The new access bridge to Ruurlo Castle was designed by Hans van Heeswijk Architects. The bridge has a total span of 32 meters, is 2.70 meters wide and has four pillars. The bridge deck that raises lightly, is made of profiled glass with an LED line in the handrails and under the bridge deck. Thanks to a combined steel and glass structure, the detailing of the bridge is slim and the view is very elegant.
