My role within the office is to ensure a smoothly running organisation in which everyone can work on interesting projects with plenty of pleasure. In a nutshell: I am the focal point, together with Remke. A very important aspect that I thoroughly enjoy working on is the European public procurement procedures. That usually involves a lot of work, bizarre questions must sometimes be answered, and clients occasionally make really irrelevant demands. Nonetheless, the reward is great when our office makes it into the second round — and even more so when we end up landing a new commission. Beyond that, this is just an enjoyable and ambitious office. I would even go so far as to say that I am better informed than most people when it comes to architecture and urban design.
