Villa Eindhoven
On a beautiful location in Eindhoven, a villa has been realized. The villa allows our clients to live in their own home for as long as confidently and comfortably as possible. It incorporates adaptable design features that can meet changing household needs to provide accessibility, safety, security, ease-of-operation, convenience and comfort.
The owners, an elderly couple, had lived in this place for a long time and were very fond of the site. However, the property no longer fulfilled their wishes and requirements of today. That's why Hans van Heeswijk Architects designed a new villa that offers maximum pleasure of living and takes full advantage of the qualities of the park-like garden and the beautiful view.
The villa consists of two floors, a basement and an indoor pool. Part of the living is two stories high with a mezzanine, which makes the house very spacious and light. Around the villa is a vast garden with monumental trees. The facades are clad with thin-moulded composite stone panels, that are lightweight and sturdy. The window frames are made of very slim profiles and have triple glazing. A system of aluminium blinds on the exterior keeps out rain and direct sunshine. The installation uses a heat pump with heat and cold storage in the bottom. The roof has been fitted with solar panels, making the villa highly energy efficient.
