Waiting facilities for bus passengers, Leiden
The bus stops on the traffic island along Stationsweg directly opposite Leiden train station offer little shelter against wind and rain. The brief for new accommodation called for waiting facilities with a wide diversity of seating and a heated waiting room with buffet and toilets. Key elements in the design were to be an integrated signage system, clear marking of the stops, lighting, a clocktower and facilities for advertising coucil-run activities.
