Extension Train Station Geldermalsen
This Train Station was originally build in 1886. The station building was located between the railway tracks and could be reached via a railway crossing. In 1888 a footbridge was added, and In 1973 an underpass. However this underpass prooved not to be socially secure, so in 2010 it was replaced by a new footbridge.
In the near future two new railway platforms will be added, so a new and longer underpass with three lifts is needed. This will create a much more inviting and flexible situation and will enlarge the capacity of travellers that use the railway every day.
